Another trophy for the cabinet for Phil Wood. After 17.4km and 2 hours 19 minutes of close racing only 4 seconds separated Phil Wood and Shaun Collins at this years Winter Classic, held this year at Ruakokoputuna in South Wairarapa.

Inset are Dave King, winner of the Wayne Cretney Memorial Trophy (M40 grade) setting up yet another hill, and Open Women’s winner, Madeleine Collins, all concentration at the map change.
